It was the birth of my first child at Northwest Medical Center that ignited my passion for caregiving. The amazing care I received from the hospital staff solidified my desire to become a nurse. I received my Master’s Degree in Nursing from Grand Canyon University and spent several years working as a postpartum, NICU, and pediatric nurse in hospitals. I often wondered what happened to my patients after they went MyTucsonDoc.com at Magee home. I wanted to be able to build long lasting relationships with my patients and their families, helping them through all phases of life, so I became a nurse practitioner. As a family medicine practitioner, I see patients of all ages and treat a wide range of conditions. I have a personal interest in women’s health and pediatrics. I enjoy being able to care for the entire family and work hard to create a comfortable environment for them. Patients tell me I am personable and attentive. I strongly believe in patient education and try to help patients understand their condition or treatment plan by relating it to something that is personally important to them. Patients who understand their plan of care do better, and I love knowing that I am helping them make a difference in their lives. I have been a Tucsonan for more than 30 years. Outside of work, I stay active with my husband and our five children. We enjoy being outdoors, hiking, cycling, and attending concerts.
