Jane Davis, MD

I have always loved the sciences, but in college I became excited about the practice of medicine. Volunteering in a rural clinic environment – medicine, people, health education – ignited a spark in me. Soon after, I applied and was accepted into the University of Arizona College of Medicine and never looked back.

I was always interested in family medicine, which led me to a residency geared towards training in broad spectrum rural family practice. The depth and breadth of rural health family medicine is like no other. It’s incredible to be able to follow patients and generations of their family through the years. Building these relationships helps me to ensure the best possible continuity of care.

I am a strong advocate for my patients in the often-confusing healthcare environment. To me, being a doctor means translating the language of medicine into concepts that are easily understandable. My goal is to find answers, whether simple or complex, that promote long-term health and well-being. I strive to be a good listener and a compassionate partner in health care.
