Tricia Caldwell, FNP
My grandmother and her sister were nurses in the Navy and I knew from a young age I wanted to be a nurse too. My goal was to become a nurse practitioner which gives me the opportunity to make decisions that can help guide the patients and change the direction of their lives. Patients sometimes need someone in their corner to help them and I wanted to be that person.
My experience as a nurse practitioner includes the ER and a chronic pain management clinic.
Both of those are specific to what’s happening with the patient at the moment. Working in a family medicine clinic allows me to connect with my patients, to care for them over time and see their progress. I have a special interest in treating patients with rheumatoid arthritis, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and women’s health.
I believe my patients would say I’m dedicated, compassionate and a good listener who won’t judge them. I think communication is important and I work to educate patients about their options and work collaboratively with them on their treatment plan.
When I’m not in the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my three children, fly fishing, camping, hiking and cooking.
